The winners were predictable in a season that pushed limits with 2 couples having sex and a "coming outside the closet" scenario surrounded by the surreal dwarf, lesbian truckdriver and Li oz the pearl jam on acid with a twist of red bull stand up comic.
All in all a great season for characters but a flat season for intellectually stimulating conversation.

Amir and Nofar's clandestine love in the face of their 3 month partners stokes the arguments and gives the ISraeli tv audience one last chance at the chair of the judge to reward the most righteous or controversial personality with a million shekels.
Jackie and Sivan exchange confused words that try to pull at the air for justice but their misguided innocence falls flat like open coke in the sun for a day. Sivan with her vacuous personality a great listener but F grade on the personal initiative for winning in life. Jackie with his bleeding heart on his sleeve has run out of red love juice and pumping dry has learned that even the most inspired infatuation can scrape at the bottom of the barrel eventually when unrequited love makes its post romeo and juliet appearance to drown the wet behind the ears hopes of a waiter who thought he could be served.

Jackie to show the world that his happiness is worth the attention of the israeli masses no matter how juvenile his humour and conversation maybe his wild card is tucked under the sleeve that wears his heart.

It is a fact that statistically there are always more people around than last year to watch etc. but this year definitely has ridden on the momentum of the previous years success. All of the guests seem fed up with the situation and each other and it has become a marathon of emotional stamina held together by a stunned production team that don't seem to know how to stimulate conversation that isn't rated R or isn't bland as polish boiled potatoes.
As I turned on the live channel to see Jackie staring into space I couldn't help wondering if this type of tv content will lead to some kind of inbred entertainment appetite that would deem trailer park soap operas the intellectual zenith of drama.

So all those without cigarettes doing cold turkey tried to beg their way into the heart of big brother and get a box of cigarettes. Big BRother told them to get into drag and dance their plea out.

He actually looks healthier exiting the house than when he entered. He didn't get polarized to Frida's or Dana's camp of opinion or angel fish wars he stayed clear of contreaversy but this strategy employed too long saw him on the sidelines of the action in the house and out of the romantic interests ofboth the guests and the viewers. Coasting in to the final rounds wasn't the best use of the previous months and water under the bridge but he did make it much farther than sexier counter parts or provocative outbursts like Ram.
